Graden Travis is a senior managing director in Newmark Knight Frank’s Walnut Creek office. Mr. Travis focuses on industrial properties located in Contra Costa, Solano and Napa counties. During his stellar 30-year career, Mr. Travis’ wide range of experience, market knowledge, enthusiasm and commitment to serving his clients has resulted in more than 1,700 successful sale and lease transactions totaling more than 60 million square feet.
Mr. Travis joined Newmark Knight Frank in April 2001 and has since turned the Walnut Creek industrial team into a resounding success. He has also become one of the top producers company-wide, earning a Top Five ranking within his office every year since joining the company and a Top 10 producer companywide in both 2008 and 2009.
Mr. Travis began his real estate career in 1984 at CBRE (formerly Coldwell Banker- CB Richard Ellis), where he was recognized as the Walnut Creek Rookie of the Year in 1986. During his initial 15 years in the real estate business, he was a Walnut Creek Top Five producer each year and ranked Number One for income generated over the same span.
Mr. Travis has implemented marketing and sales programs for his clients, including: leasing the 2.0 million-square-foot Benicia Industrial Park for Bedford Properties-Kemper Insurance; a highly successful lot sale program in Vacaville’s 645-acre Interchange Business Park for Messenger Investment Company; the successful lease-up of the Antioch Distribution Center, comprising 662,000 square feet, for Lincoln Property Company; the sale of the 450,000-square-foot American Home Foods facility in Vacaville; the sale of the 261,000-square-foot Fibrebond Plant in Fairfield; and the 151,000-square-foot lease to Barry Callebaut, USA. He has also provided oversight of projects representing The Conco Companies, GSI Properties, A.D. Seeno Construction Co., The Hofmann Company, Castle Companies, Morgan Stanley and RREEF, to name a few.
Additionally, Mr. Travis has been involved in many of the largest industrial transactions in his marketplace. His leasing and sales achievements include more than 60 transactions greater than 100,000 square feet, highlighted by the 240,000-square-foot Bebe Clothing sale in the Benicia Industrial Park. He was also involved in the largest land sale in Central Contra Costa county: the Lowes HIW purchase of 28.11 acres from the Jones Family along Arnold Industrial Way in Concord. In Benicia, he recently leased 121,500 square feet for Flavor Insights. The Conco Companies, a longtime client, purchased a 234,000-square-foot leased investment located at 4955 Industrial Way, in Benicia, home of Mr. Travis’ largest tenant client; Cytosport, Inc. Additionally, Mr. Travis was involved in the 359,100-square-foot sale of the former Dey Labs campus in the Napa Valley Corporate Park to the County of Solano.
Mr. Travis graduated from the California State University, Chico, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology.
Tyler Epting is a managing director with the Walnut Creek office of Newmark Knight Frank, specializing in the sales and leasing of industrial properties throughout Contra Costa and Solano counties. He is an integral member of the industrial team along with Graden Travis. Mr. Epting celebrates his 16-year anniversary with Newmark Knight Frank in April 2017.
Mr. Epting has completed more than 650 deals totaling in excess of 8 million square feet of distribution, manufacturing, R&D and office/flex space.
A strong business and economics background allows Mr. Epting to service his clients and provide them with a professional and enthusiastic approach that consistently exceeds their expectations. His approach to the business of real estate is well rounded, capitalizing on his experience in sales, marketing, financial analysis and technology.

Mr. Epting earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in economics from Humboldt State University. While there, he was an NCAA athlete competing in football and track and field, twice earning all-conference honors in both endeavors.
Kris Hagar works with Newmark Knight Frank's Walnut Creek Office and specializes in leasing and sales of industrial properties in Contra Costa, Solano and Napa Counties.
Mr. Hagar initially came onboard at the beginning of 2016 as a Market Research Coordinator, where his responsibilities included maintaining the company’s database, supporting agent’s daily operations and creating/distributing multiple market reports on a quarterly basis. This role helped sharpen his skills in data analysis, valuations and the comprehension of market trends.
Kris’s diverse occupational background consisting of mortgage lending, property management, construction and house-flipping give him a unique skillset to help a wide range of clients.
Mr. Hagar graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
